Sequim Columbia Bank manager Kathryn Gates (left) awards a check to Sequim Library manager Emily Sly  a $500 donation for the newly formed North Olympic Library Foundation.

“Columbia Bank strongly supports community organizations such as the public library,” Gates said. “And we’re delighted to be able to make this contribution to the Library Foundation to help keep the library and its services strong and vibrant now and in the future.”

The foundation, NOLF, was formed in 2012 by a group of concerned citizens to augment the public funding, mostly consisting of property taxes, for the North Olympic Library System, Clallam County’s public libraries.
