Angela Brosius, owner of Mountainside Mail, invites the community to check out the new business during its grand opening set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at 1400 W. Washington St, Suite 104.
Attendees can meet the staff and have some local treats a the new mailbox and shipping center business.
Brosius said she’s been in the mail and shipping business for about 18 years and started her first company, Dockside Mail, in Seattle about 12 years ago.
Living on a sailboat at Shilshole Bay Marina, she said she saw a need for those who live on boats and in RVs, and those who are travelers, for mail and scanning services.
About two years ago, Brosius and her husband started searching for a vacation home and landed in Sequim.
“Falling in love with the property and living in a ‘real’ house soon became a full-time thing for me after living on a sailboat for 21 years,” she said.
When the opportunity came up to lease the space at the former UPS store was, Brosius jumped.
“I’m so excited to get to know this community and hopefully provide a needed service to this area,” she said. “I’ve been trying to get as many local gifts, art, and greeting cards in the store and have been having so much fun doing that.”
The business will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, she said.
