Harbinger Winery of Port Angeles recently was recognized by Great Northwest Wine for its 2009 Sangiovese from Elephant Mountain Vineyard, showing how well this signature Italian grape can fare in Washington.

The 2009 Sangiovese will be available through the end of August for tasting and purchase at Harbinger Winery, which is located 3 miles west of Port Angeles on U.S. Highway 101.

The tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
