Hear about two farms that grow organic seed on the Olympic Peninsula at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Nash’s Farm Store, 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way in Dungeness.

Local farmers Tessa Gowans of Seed Dreams and Jadyne Reichner of Oatsplanter Farm in Jefferson County, will be present to talk about how and why they focus on seed and what is available for your garden this year. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Chris Tipton, seed and vegetable manager for Nash’s Organic Produce, presents a talk on why seed is grown at Nash’s and how the farm has developed and selected different varieties for both seed sales and vegetable production.

The talk will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Nash’s Farm Store. The presentation is free and open to the public.
