Raj Deol, M.D., of Sequim, recently earned his critical care certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Already board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, Deol sees patients at Olympic Medical Physicians Specialty Clinic in Sequim and also provides pulmonary and critical care hospitalist coverage for inpatients at Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles. Deol also provides pulmonary medicine care in Port Townsend on a monthly basis.
“Dr. Deol is a skilled and dedicated physician who provides excellent care to his clinic patients, as well as to some of the more critically ill patients at the hospital,” said Rebecca Corley, M.D., pulmonologist and chief physician officer, Olympic Medical Physicians.
“Achieving another level of board certification, while also maintaining a robust medical practice, illustrates his clear devotion to patients. We are incredibly fortunate to have this outstanding provider in our community.”
According to Corley, Deol was instrumental in initiating and continuing to facilitate multidisciplinary rounds in the critical care unit at the hospital, as well as providing consultative services to these critically ill patients. He is also the 2013 chairman of the Critical Care Committee at Olympic Medical Center.
Deol joined Olympic Medical Physicians in 2010 after completing his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City.
