Learn about gardening in the Northwest and how to garden with plant starts in a presentation by Marko Colby at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Nash’s Farm Store, 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way in Dungeness.
The talk is free and open to the public.
Colby and his partner Hanako Myers are farmers and authors of a recently published book, “Vegetable by Vegetable, Gardening Near the Salish Sea.”
They own and operate Midori Farm in East Jefferson County where they produce over a 100,000 seedlings for area gardeners, grow high quality organic produce and craft traditionally fermented sauerkraut and kimchi from farm-grown vegetables.
