The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau, the tourism marketing agency for unincorporated Clallam County, is seeking to fill one position on its 10-member board of directors. The position, vacant by a resignation, is for a bed and breakfast representative for the remainder of a 3-year term expiring December 2016.
Applicants must reside or do business in the unincorporated areas of Clallam County, outside of the city limits of Forks, Sequim or Port Angeles.
The OPVB also provides administrative support for the Olympic Peninsula Tourism Commission, a 13-partner group comprised of the chambers of commerce and tourism marketing entities from the Mason County to Quinault via the northern U.S. Highway 101 route.
The OPVB board of directors meets monthly in the Port Angeles area and a conference call-in option usually is available. The OPVB board advises staff on policies, programs and promotions.
