As part of their annual drive to give back to the community, the staff at WeDo Fudge located, 11 Valley Center Place, Calrsborg, announced last week they are celebrating five years of business by giving 20 percent of their drive-thru sales to a different organization each month.
Eight organizations out of the 14 applications received were randomly selected as the 2018 recipients. They include: Puget Sound Anglers (April), Sequim High School Class of 2019 (May), Media Spotlight (June), Clallam County Homeless Outreach (July), United Way of Clallam County (August), Sequim Community Aid (September), Peninsula Friends of Animals (October) and Parenting Matters Foundation (November).
The WeDo Fudge’s drive-thru season begins Tuesday, April 3, with 20 percent of all sales during the month going to Puget Sound Anglers, a group dedicated to preserving quality fisheries who hosts the annual Kids Fishing Day the third Saturday in May. The anglers meet at 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim.
