Olympic Medical Center CEO Eric Lewis recently honored Darryl Wolfe, director of administration and interim chief financial officer, with the organization’s Leadership Award in for April at the hospital’s monthly department management meeting.
Wolfe has been with Olympic Medical for nearly 10 years, and has been in the position of director of administration for just over a year. “Darryl has done tremendously well in his role of director of administration, but he has taken on additional duties and responsibilities in the past year that are outside of that role including significant work on the Port Angeles Medical Office Building construction project,” says Lewis.
Wolfe has been managing plant operations and hospital construction projects since the search began for a new plant operations manager last fall and has been interim chief financial officer since the retirement of Julie Rukstad in March.
Supervisors, managers and directors are eligible for Olympic Medical Center’s Leadership Award, and the award is given at the medical center’s department management meeting that occurs monthly.
