WSU Extension Economic Development specialists Jordan Tampien and Krisan LeHew discuss the power of making your dollars work locally in two free upcoming workshops.

On Feb. 9,  learn about whether local investing is right for you, new tools for investing and connect with investment networks in the area in “Local Investing 101.”

The class is offered noon-1 p.m. at the Port of Port Angeles boardroom, 338 W. First St., Port Angeles, and again from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

Learn about the nuts and bolts of structuring an investor/business relationship in “Investor Training,” held 9-11 a.m. at First Federal-Sequim, 333 N. Sequim Ave.
