A community thanks

Over the past few weeks, I had the privilege of working alongside Citizens for Sequim Schools and community members throughout our district to advocate for the school facilities bond and the Education Programs and Operations levy. It was inspiring to see lawn signs and social media messages spreading awareness, while dedicated community members participated in sign waving, letter writing, giving public comments, and rallies, all aimed at informing our community about the district’s needs.

A heartfelt thank you to the school district staff and our superintendent for dedicating their evenings and weekends to informing the community. People of all ages came together in support of a shared vision: strengthening our community and ensuring our children have the opportunity to thrive.

Along the way, I met wonderful new neighbors, many of whom I know will become lifelong friends. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort. The overwhelming support for our children and their future is truly remarkable.

Kudos to ‘Sequimderella’

Last night I attended Sequimderella at Sequim High School! This years production by the senior class!

Kudos to Mark Adrian Dulfo, Emma Gilliam, Aason Judd, Anna Peterson, Reid Randall, Sophia Treece and Jovi Weller, the writers of this year’s play, not to mention the cast! So enjoyable and very witty as they poke fun at our many roundabouts, lavender farms, lack of sunny days, slow drivers, coffee shops and Rocket Transportation! I was pleasantly entertained and look forward to continuing to support SHS! I’m definitely looking forward to this years operetta “Oklahoma “!
