Biden’s pardon of Fauci

Literally 15 minutes before President Biden handed the reins to President Trump, he pardoned, among others, Anthony Fauci. Mr. “I am the science”, who was only right about one thing, his 2017 prediction that President Trump would face a pandemic.

It’s almost like he knew ahead of time.

Of course he was familiar with all the gain of function research he was funding throughout the world, and the certainty that humans are fallible in their attempts to control that which they create in those labs.

The H5N1 bird flu virus was one of those gain of function science projects. They made it more infectious toward mammals. Hey wait a minute, I’m a mammal! You should read about how the University of Wisconsin (mis)handled their H5N1 research.

Anyway, is it surprising that the most corrupt president in our history preemptively pardoned the man who represented science and was proven wrong about nearly everything? Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci, what a pair. So, how do you pardon someone for something they haven’t been charged with, and maintain that it is not an admission of guilt? If you kill one person, you go to jail. If you kill millions, you get to retire with a big fat pension.

We will succeed

Donald Trump pardoned ‘proud boys,’ a violent street gang, because they led the treasonous attempt to overthrow the US government after the 2020 election. They deliberately attacked law enforcement officers injuring over 140, many disabled for life, or died.

Now they’ll join the ranks of private, bloodthirsty, unlawful paramilitary units, eager to intimidate and prevent the majority of us from participating in our democratic republic government.

However, we will succeed to turn the tide away from totalitarianism that generates this hatred in men, this betrayal of humanity.

For we have traveled through dark periods, such as the Civil War, the American Nazi crusade prior to US engagement in WWII, and the tumultuous, risky times during the Civil, Native American, Farm Workers’, and women’s rights movements of the 1960s-70s.

We will succeed to get back on track to support the richness which lies in the individuality and diversity of our people. We don’t want nepotism, cronyism, nor greedy oligarchs, narcissistic self-serving tyrants and their sycophants to be in power.

Elon Musk, by saluting a pre-inauguration crowd with the infamous Roman (fascist/Nazi) salute, fraternizes with alt-right domestic terrorists. This signal urges us to confront strong-arm tactics in our communities, to protect everyone targeted by infectious, deadly prejudice and bigotry.

These violent criminals, set free to strut around in their little uniforms, will again commit crimes. Then, hopefully, they’ll be captured, prosecuted, and returned, this time, to inescapable imprisonment.

Vote yes for school levy, bond

We have an important opportunity coming up to support our Sequim students. We, the taxpayers, need to ensure that funding for educational programs and services are adequate for good, well rounded student educations.

The schools were built decades ago and are rapidly approaching their expiration dates. It makes sense to build new facilities when renovating them would cost 1.6 times more. Technology has changed. Security needs have changed. The Sports Athletic Facility needs to be upgraded and made safe.

If we don’t support the schools, who will? Please vote YES for the Sequim Levy and Bond – for the good of our students’ futures.

Vote yes for them or for yourself

We live in a competitive world and we adults have the responsibility to set our local kids up for success to compete in that world. The science lab at Sequim High School was built before we put a man on the moon – there have been technological advances since then.

When our kids have the opportunity to tour other schools around the state, they see the disparity and their reactions are hard to witness. I believe it’s our responsibility as adults to provide educational opportunities that will allow Sequim students a fighting chance. I believe it’s the right thing to do.

If the altruistic angle is not your thing, perhaps consider doing it for yourself. Speak to the people in charge of recruiting physicians considering a move to Sequim and they will tell you that the biggest objection they hear is that the Sequim schools do not meet the candidate’s standards

Everyone wants good value with our tax dollars. I contend that of all of the taxes we pay – federal, state, or local – this school bond will have the most positive, direct impact on our community.

Part of the value of your property is the community and facilities around it. For years, the quality of our schools has not matched the level of this wonderful community. We must do better – for ourselves if not for the kids of Sequim.
