PA library hosts Ranger, Re-Arrangers
The Port Angeles Library’s annual Summertime Music! Outdoor Concert Series features Ranger and the Re-Arrangers, performing live at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in the grassy courtyard at the library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional gypsy melodies, the music of Django Reinhardt and Ranger’s originals.

Salute to Beethoven
The Olympic Music Festival presents its seventh concert weekend Aug. 7-8, featuring an all-Beethoven chamber music program.
This classic Beethoven festival weekend centers around the composer’s top chamber works, including “Ghost” Piano Trio and the Violin Sonata No. 7 in C minor.
The festival is located on a 55-acre farm in Quilcene, 18 miles south of Port Townsend.
