Elks plan New Year’s dinner/dance

Round Trip will play for the New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.

The cost is $60 per couple or $35 per single for the New York roast dinner from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Round Trip takes the stage from 7-9:30 p.m. Dinner tickets must be purchased by 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23. The cost is $15 at the door for the dance party only and the public is welcome. Help support the Elks local charities.

Join new book club at Sequim Library

“Novel Conversations” is a new monthly book discussion group that will meet for the first time at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave. At this initial gathering, attendees of all backgrounds and interests are invited to share a book that has been important in their reading lives — regardless of genre — and give input to help decide the club’s book list for 2017. Participation is free and no registration is required.
