Learn the cha cha!
The North Olympic Dance Consortium’s next ballroom dance series begins Tuesday, Jan. 5. Darlene and Michael Clemens teach the cha cha at Scandia Hall, 131 W. Fifth St., Port Angeles, on Tuesdays during January. Beginners class will begin at 7 p.m. and the advanced class at 8 p.m. Fees apply. Call 457-2001.
‘Amazing’ art set at Blue Whole Gallery
Blue Whole Gallery opens the New Year with a special group show of wood artisans titled “Woodn’t It Be Amazing!” set for 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, during Sequim’s January First Friday Art Walk. Accordionists gather
The next Sequim Accordion Social will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St. Players of all levels are encouraged to bring their accordion and play 1-3 pieces. The featured player is Seattle’s Bonnie Birch Trio. A donation of $3 is requested.
