‘To Move’ exhibit set at Sequim Civic Center

Join the Sequim Arts Commission for the opening reception of the “To Move, Focus on Movement or Motion” art exhibit from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, in the Karen Kuznek-Reese Gallery at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 West Cedar Street.

Light refreshments and musical entertainment will be provided.

The exhibit is comprised of 16 pieces of work by 12 artists and will be on exhibit Oct. 4-Jan. 21.

Many of the artists in this exhibition have achieved visual movement in their work by depicting motion in an artwork, leading an observer from one section to another, or by making the artwork itself move as a part of the viewing experience, exhibit curators note.
