Children’s pencil drawings

Sequim Boys & Girls Club members ages 6-11 will be shown at The Buzz, 128 N.

Sequim Ave., Sequim, beginning Saturday, May 1.

Some of the children will be at The Buzz during the First Friday Art Walk on May 7 to talk about their work.

Volunteer Sam L. Sutherland has worked with them for several months.

The children work on drawings from 3-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Grinnell at Grange

In celebration of Grange Month, Sequim Prairie Grange hosts an open house on Wednesday, April 28, at 290 Macleay Road. The evening starts with a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m.

An elder of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, Grinnell is known for her storytelling as well as speaking on many topics.

Peninsula Driftwood Artists

Peninsula Driftwood Artists meets 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim.

Members are encouraged to bring a lunch and current project, as a work session follows the business meeting. Prospective members are welcome.

Updates on the 41st annual PDA Driftwood Show June 11-13 will be discussed.

The group is planning its Lavender Festival participation, with demonstrations at Jardin du Soleil.

Sign-ups are being taken for classes starting later in the spring.
