Auditions for Olympic Theatre Arts’ staged reading of William Shakespeare’s “A Twelfth Night” are set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, at the OTA Center, 414 N. Sequim Ave.
This is the fourth year OTA will be presenting what is called “Twelfth Night Revelry,” set in a transformed Elizabethan Hall — also known as the Gathering Hall at OTA.
Patrons are encouraged to come in costume.
Rehearsals begin after Thanksgiving, once a week with two dress rehearsals preceding the opening.
There will be three performances, set for Jan. 6-8. The Jan. 6 performance is at 7 p.m., while the Jan. 7 and 8 matinees are at 2 p.m.
The play will be directed by Rich Hendricksen. Those interested in auditioning will be asked to “cold” read from the script.
