Buhler, Pals Hit the Stage at Dungeness Schoolhouse

It’s a night of jazz as local sax/clarinet player Craig Buhler and his “Capistrano Sessions,” along with local band Witherow, will play from 7-9 p.m. Friday,

April 24, at the Dungeness schoolhouse, 2781 Towne Road. Sponsored by the Peninsula Friends of Music, the concert has a suggested donation is $10 for admission, but students get in for free.

Buhler (at left) is director of the 17-piece Stardust Big Band in which he plays first tenor sax. Joining Buhler on Friday are pianist Mark Schecter, bassist Ted Enderle and drummer Howard Gilbert. Witherow (above) features the musical chemistry of Abby Mae, formerly of The Home School Boys group, and guitarist Dillan Witherow.
