A candlelighting service will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave.

The service will include a Christmas story, music with a soloist and traditional carols.

“Handel With Care,” a sing-it-yourself Messiah in which the audience is encouraged to participate, will be presented at the church at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28. It will feature instrumentalists and soloists, with Dewey Ehling as conductor and Pat Marcy as accompanist.
