The deadline for entries for the Sequim Centennial Public Art Project —Traffic Utility Box Vinyl Wraps has been extended to Friday, March 1.
As part of the Sequim Centennial Celebration, the Centennial Committee is seeking to commission up to four artists to produce art to be displayed on traffic utility boxes in the city. The project is about celebrating the people, places, commerce and sense of community that make up the City of Sequim and the Sequim-Dungeness Valley. Each wrap must tell a story in picture and words.
Deadline for submittals is 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1. Artists should send completed proposals and samples by standard mail or delivery to Barbara Hanna, Communications and Marketing Director, City of Sequim, 152 W. Cedar St., Sequim, WA 98382.
The final artwork is to be installed in the spring of 2013.
