Class act for a good cause

Master Quilter Mary Ann Clayton, a retired Helen Haller teacher, donated between 75-100 hours and materials to a quilted art piece of the Old Sequim High School.

Master Quilter Mary Ann Clayton, a retired Helen Haller teacher, donated between 75-100 hours and materials to a quilted art piece of the Old Sequim High School.

She is the daughter of pioneers Teen Clayton and Clara Burton-Clayton, a past Honorary Grand Pioneer.

The quilted piece is on display at the Sequim Museum Exhibit building, 175 E. Cedar St.

There will be a drawing held on Dec. 20 with all the money donated benefiting The Alumni Association and the Sequim Museum. Tickets are $1 or six for $5.
