It’s a day of top tuns and eye-catching wheels on tap at Sherwood Assisted Living, as the senior living community hosts “Classic Hits & Classic Cars,” a free, all-ages community event on Saturday, 550 West Hendrickson Road.

Check out Local rock-n-roll favorite Black Diamond Junction playing live music from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. alongside the Sequim Valley Car Club Car Show, which runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Voted the Olympic Peninsula’s “Best Live Band” and “Best Live Performer” for six consecutive years (2016-2021), Black Diamond Junction brings their high-energy slate of classic hits from the 1960s through the 1990s to Sherwood’s stage.

Primarily a touring club, the Sequim Valley Car Club will display an array of vintage classic and muscle cars, each with at least 25 years of history behind them.

In addition, guests can indulge in a $5 lunch featuring barbecue burgers and hot dogs. As a special treat, Sherwood will be offering free root beer floats.
