Auditions/Submissions

• Peninsula Singers recruiting new members. Rehearsals are 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave. Dues of $100 per semester are asked to help defray costs, including scholarships for local music students. Singers need to be able to read music, and must have solid choral experience. • The City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC) is seeking entries of art utilizing reused, repurposed, or recycled objects such as old signs, floor planks, canvas or other materials that can be painted, carved or modified, and can hold up in the elements outside for a three-month period for the “Art All Over: The Art Show Without Walls” exhibit. Submissioners deadline is Jan. 7. All entries must be submitted through JotForm at form.jotform.com/213216088841152 and must include photos of the art. • The City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC) seeking entries of arts and crafts from area high school students for the new High Schools of the Olympic Peninsula Creative Crafts and Arts exhibit, on display March 4 through the end of April at Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St. Deadline for submission is Friday, Feb. 11. All entries must be submitted digitally at form.jotform.com/213206971397158, and must include one photograph if the work is two-dimensional and three photographs from different perspectives if the work is three-dimensional. • Disabled American Veterans (DAV) office, 583 W. Washington St, open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesdays to serve veterans who are needing help with claims or other information. Services are free; veterans do not have to be members of DAV. Office service by walk-in; no appointment is necessary. Masks required upon entrance.
