Dr. Richard Davies and Errin Aidane, RDH, will present a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum entitled “Better Dental Health For You” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., in Sequim.
Checking your teeth for tooth decay is just one part of a thorough dental examination. During your checkup your dentist or dental hygienist likely will evaluate the health of your gums, perform head and neck examination, and examine your mouth for any indications of oral cancer, diabetes or vitamin deficiencies. Don’t be surprised if your dentist also examines your face, bite, saliva and movement of your lower jaw joints.
Davies has been treating the dental needs of the Sequim community since 1991. His desire is to impress local residents with the importance of keeping current with dental exams and hygiene. During this forum, he will explain why with help from dental hygienist Errin Aidane, who has been working in dentistry for 30 years in both Oregon and Washington. WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health &Wellness Clinic, 777 N. Fifth Ave. No. 109, Sequim.
