Olympic Peninsula Authors will offer humor, warfare, inspiration, romance and murder from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, April 20, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
This entertaining event will include short readings by all the authors as well as signing and selling. People also are welcome to ask them questions about writing as a hobby or career.
Olympic Peninsula Authors is a nonprofit group that creates awareness of the many talented authors living in this community. The free event will include door prizes and light refreshments.
Featured authors include:
• Lynnette Baughman, Sequim, was a newspaper editor in New Mexico before turning her hand to fiction. She will feature two of her mysteries set in the Southwest.
• Brian Buntain, Joyce, is an award-winning historical educator. His book is a “travel history” of the Civil War.
• Michael Bunnell, Sequim, has written everything from news articles to television scripts. He will present two novels, one a period piece and the other a humorous historical.
• Craig Andrews, Sequim, is a poet who has lived here over two decades, loves the people and wilderness, but has yet to acclimatize! He will have three poetry collections.
• Heidi Hansen, Sequim, retired from real estate sales, now offers a collection of humorous and poignant short stories.
• Terry Moore, Sequim, calls writing “a magic carpet of paper and pen” that takes him wherever his subconscious wills. He has three collections of essays.
• Linda B. Myers, Port Angeles, writes general fiction and articles for the Sequim Gazette. She will offer her series of mysteries.
• Jane Nichols, Sequim, writes award-winning contemporary romance and romantic suspense. She will offer three books at the event.
