Best-selling author Jonathan Evison will read from his latest novel, “This Is Your Life, Harriet Chance!” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave. — during the winter Art in the Library’s opening reception and First Friday Art Walk events.

Evison, a Bainbridge Island resident, is the New York Times-bestselling author of three award-winning novels.

His latest, “This Is Your Life, Harriet Chance!” was released in September.

The opening reception for the winter Art in the Library exhibit is at 6 p.m. preceding Evison’s reading, and an opportunity to meet featured artist Jarrod Jackson; the winter show is through March 1.
