‘Standing on the Side of Love’

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Agnew, will explore some aspects of love that go beyond romantic love at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.

The focus will be on demonstrating compassion toward your fellow human beings with a particular emphasis on “Standing on the Side of Love.”

Music will be by LeRoy Davidson, Joel Yelland and the OUUF Choir, and include readers.

From loss to hope and healing

Rear Admiral Darold Bigger, ret., and his wife Barbara will speak on the devastating loss of their daughter and how they were able to heal and find forgiveness for her killer.

The following sessions are planned: 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, Coping with Tragedy; 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, Hope for Then and Now; 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, What We Learned from Inmate 263818; 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, The Bible’s View of Forgiving.

All presentations are held at Sequim Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane, Sequim.

Darold Bigger is a certified social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist. Barbara Bigger has a master’s degree in counseling.
