Finding our voice

The Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Agnew, presents speaker Bridget Laflin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 12. Her topic is on how do Unitarian Universalists maintain their individuality and still present themselves to the world in a unified way? Laflin lives in Seattle and attends the Shoreline UU Fellowship.

Taize service set

All are welcome to the ecumenical Taize service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., at 7 p.m. Monday, March 27. In a meditative candlelit atmosphere which includes singing simple repetitive songs, one may simply sit peacefully during the hour long service or join in the chorus while experiencing the calming effect of being in God’s presence. Taize will continue to be held the fourth Monday of each month.

Guest musician set for Trinity United service

Jackson Berkey, co-founder and keyboardist for Manheim Steamroller, will be a featured guest at the 10 a.m. service Sunday, March 12, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim.

Berkey, a composer, pianist and singer, will accompany the Trinity choir’s presentation of his dramatic arrangement of “Amazing Grace.” He also will perform on the piano immediately before the start of the service.
