The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center hosts its fourth-annual Wintertide Festival of Lights from 4 -8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7th.
The returning festival will include outdoor artworks in the 2024 Light Art Experience, food and drink vendors, shopping at the Makers Market, live performances and interactive light art stations and activities for all ages throughout Webster’s Woods.
Tickets are required for the Festival of Lights and can be purchased at pafac.kindful.com/e/wintertide-2024. Organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance to facilitate easy check-in and to secure tickets before they sell out.
Festival attendees will be guided through the forest paths by 14 lighted art installations that are on display throughout the five acre property for the month-long “Sparks in the Night” Light Art Experience.
Several additional temporary light displays and activity stations will be up for the festival evening only including interactive elements by Marcell Marias, Foxlight Labs, and Ross Brown.
At any point during the evening, visitors can shop at the Makers Market in the gallery and enjoy heated seating in the courtyard. Jazz vocalist Sarah Shea will be creating a festive atmosphere with holiday music from 6-8 p.m.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Pacific Pantry, Angeles Brewing Supplies, and Dragon’s Brew Coffee Company throughout the event.
On Saturday, Dec. 7th, community members can visit the Maker’s Market from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., but from 4-8 p.m. the grounds will be open only to Festival of Lights ticket holders.
