Field Hall, KSTI to kick off Strait Country Music Series

Field Arts & Events Hall, in partnership with KSTI “The Strait Country” 102.1 FM, recently announced the lineup of the 2024-25 Strait Country Music Series for Field Hall’s second artistic season.

The series brings chart-topping country artists and local favorites to the Donna M. Morris Theater for fans of the genre and country-lovers visiting the Olympic Peninsula.

Josh Gracin, the Billboard chart-topping country musician and U.S. Marine veteran, kicks off the series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, during the opening night of the Dungeness Crab Festival.

“We kept hearing requests for more country music, and we’re excited to work with KSTI to oblige,” said Steve Raider-Ginsburg, executive and artistic director at Field Hall. “We’re committed to showcasing a diverse range of country music that resonates with our audience.”

Gracin, a Michigan native and former Marine, broke onto the country charts in 2004 with the hit “I Want to Live.” His rise to fame included the chart-topping “Nothin’ to Lose” as well as fan favorites like “Stay With Me (Brass Bed)” and “We Weren’t Crazy.” (For more about Gracin, visit joshgracinofficial.com.)

In honor of Gracin’s military service, Field Hall has made a special effort to recognize the local veteran community. Veterans attending Gracin’s show can enjoy a 25% discount —a combination of Field Hall’s regular 10% veterans discount and an additional 15% off for this show only.

Future series events include:

• Dec. 21 — Amanda Lynn Bacon, “Tinsel & Twang: A Downhome Country Christmas”

Join local Bacon and Black Diamond Junction Band for a festive evening of holiday favorites, blending country classics and Christmas cheer.

• March 13 — Ty Herndon

Herndon, a Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist, has been topping the country music charts since 1995 with hits like “What Mattered Most” and “Living in a Moment.”
