The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd. in Port Angeles, kicks off its Wintertide programming with the opening of the Makers Market and Light Art Experience on Friday, Nov. 29.
The market opens from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. and 14 new or returning light installations being switched on.
From 5-8pm visitors can enjoy beverages and heated seating in the courtyard with live music from local musician Casey Fall.
The Makers Market is set in the Esther Webster Gallery, and the Light Art installations will be spread throughout the five acres of Webster’s Woods.
The Makers Market features art prints, home decor, jewelry, and more from 34 Clallam and Jefferson County artists and artisans.
The Makers Market runs from 11 a.m-5 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays, and until 8 p.m. on Fridays through Dec. 15. The Light Art Experience is free to visit from 4-8 p.m. nightly through Jan. 01, 2025.
The center hosts its fourth annual Wintertide Festival of Lights from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 7. Attendees will be invited to participate in a community lantern walk to start the evening, followed by a performance by fire troupe The Fractal Phase.
