Four-part genealogy seminar set in Sequim

The Clallam County Genealogical Society’s (CCGS) Speaker’s Series will be hosting a day-long seminar Saturday, Oct. 14, featuring Jill Morelli, who will explain the methodology of “Becoming a Genealogical Super Sleuth” in a series of four lectures.

The program is available both in-person — at Dungeness Lutheran Valley Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave. — and on Zoom. It starts at 9 a.m. and ends about 3 p.m. Those attending the seminar at the church are encouraged to bring a lunch, however snacks and beverages will be available during the seminar.

Morelli is a nationally-known genealogist and lecturer. Her presentations are always well organized, interesting, instructive, and entertaining,” event organizers say. “She loves to share the serendipity her research reveals about our families. Her love of teaching and engaging with attendees of her lectures and workshops are apparent.”

Registration is $45 for CCGS members, $50 for non-members and couples. Credit cards can be used by going to the CCGS website and using the PayPal app before Oct 11. Payment can also be made at the door.
