LARC Gallery is offering a free art series. The third in the series, “Capturing 2-D Art: Photography Basics,” is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the gallery, 425 E. Washington St., Sequim.

Photographer Melissa Mann covers topics such as equipment needed, how to set up for a photograph, taking the photo and what to do with the photo.
