Inside the artist’s studios: Third-annual Strait from the Artists Studio Tour set for Saturday, Sunday

Art aficionados once again have a chance to meet- and greet artists and see where their creative inspirations come to life.

The third-annual Strait from the Artists Studio Tour — a self-guided, free, and open-to-all adventure through the inspiring artist studios and exhibition spaces along the picturesque Strait of Juan de Fuca — is set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9-10.

This tour of artists from Sequim, Gardiner and Port Angeles, event organizers say, offers a unique opportunity to connect with artists in their creative habitats, to “engage directly with them, witness their diverse creative processes and discover the community-minded spirit behind their work.”

Discover art in many forms including mixed media sculptures and assemblages, painting, fiber arts, ceramics, photography, paper art, woodworking, glass art, pastels, jewelry, wearable art, printing, and upcycle art.

See straitfromtheartists.com for maps and details of artists’ studio locations.

We delight in fostering connections with the enchanted artwork being sold with the thoughtful buyers of gifts for themselves and loved ones.”
