Join PA library’s all-digital scavenger hunt Saturday

At 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., hosts the first all-digital scavenger hunt throughout the library.

The event is for all ages; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring a team of up to six individuals or come on your own and library staff will find a team for you.

Participants will take pictures of their team performing a variety of challenges throughout the library.

Challenges include dancing in the stacks, playing air guitar to a favorite song and learning to speak Pirate.

Participants who don’t have a smartphone or tablet will be loaned a digital camera to photograph the stages of the hunt.

Scores are kept in “real time” on a program called Goosechase. The event concludes with a grand finale featuring food, prizes and a slide show of the event. The event is facilitated by Geoteaming, Inc., a team-building company out of Seattle which partners with Goosechase.
