Learn about lavender at ‘Work to Learn’ forum

The Sequim Botanical Garden Society invites residents for a unique “Work to Learn Party” at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Terrace Garden at the Water Reuse Site of Carrie Blake Community Park.

This workshop is an opportunity to participate in a forum-style talk with volunteer gardeners and others about the lavender plants in home gardens.

Dona Brock will lead a discussion of experiences with and answer typical questions about lavender plantsas well as demonstrate annual trimming of the plants. Experienced lavender gardeners and those new to lavender plants will be able to share more information as well.
