The SKWIM Toastmasters group invites community members to learn how to create a ghostly story “on the spot” and more when they meet at 7 p.m. on Halloween (Tuesday, Oct. 31) at the KSQM 91.5 FM broadcasting offices at 609 W. Washington St., and on Zoom.
This event is free and open to the public, both online and in-person. Join online at skwimtm.org.
Presenter Rebecca Murray facilitates improv workshops in conference rooms, classrooms and auditoriums.
“She is known for creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere where bold risk-taking converts to communication confidence,” meeting organizers note.
Murray will help attendees learn to take risks when speaking, discover their inner creativity, and gain confidence in their ability to speak spontaneously.
Leading the meeting will be Toastmaster Kyle Hall.
“This is improv and story telling at its best,” Hell said. “Rebecca Murray guides us to fun, laughter and opportunities to stretch your comfort zone.”
SKWIM Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that “empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.” The Sequim club meets from 7-8:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the KSQM offices.
