Learn how to grow growing herbs, spices, aromatics and more

Join Clallam County Master Gardener Pam Pace as she talks about her favorite herbs, aromatics and specialty vegetables that grow so beautifully in our area at the next Digging Deeper series event set for 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 29, at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road.

Pace’s presentation, “Growing Culinary Herbs/Spices, Aromatics and Specialty Vegetables,” will provide tips on growing, harvesting, cooking and preserving these culinary gems.

Growing these herbs, spices, aromatics and veggies on the North Olympic Peninsula is not only easy, local gardening experts note, but it’s one of the simplest, most economic ways to be self-sufficient and grow garden to table produce throughout the year, while taking one’s culinary skills to the next level.
