Discover facts and myths about medieval sports and fitness practices with the Knights of Veritas during the 2016 Summer Reading Program at the North Olympic Library System.
The Knights of Veritas, a nonprofit organization specializing in interactive educational demonstrations of medieval arms, armor, combat, knighthood and chivalry, will visit NOLS on Tuesday, July 12, at various locations around the peninsula.
Demonstrations will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., at 2 p.m. at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., and 6 p.m. at the Rainforest Arts Center in Forks.
The 2016 Summer Reading Program, taking place through Aug. 20, offers an array of events and incentive-based reading programs to encourage children to read during their summer vacations.
