Certified yoga instructor Shelley Stratton, RN, presents “A Meditation Practice for Your Wellbeing,” a WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum set for 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, on KSQM 91.5 FM.
Practicing meditation has been proven to reduce stress, insomnia and anxiety, event organizers say. It also increases self-awareness, fulfillment and happiness. Take a deep breath and join Stratton in taking simple steps toward a meditation practice.
Stratton is a resident of Sequim, an active member of the community, and a former board member of the Dungeness Health and Wellness Center, where she has volunteered as a nurse manager for nine years.
She is the owner of Bodhi Tree Yoga Studio and has been teaching yoga for the past 12 years, working with a wide range of students in the classroom and developing programs for various specialties.
