Sequim resident Jennifer Beckett recently was named to the Scholastic Honor Roll for Fall term at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore.

Beckett was one of 1,234 students to earn a straight-A grade-point average (4.0 or of 4.0) for the term. She is a senior majoring in natural resources.

To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.
