The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is partnering with Feiro Marine Life Center to offer a free tidepool exploration event from 8:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at Slip Point in Clallam Bay.
Participants should meet at Slip Point Lighthouse at the end of Frontier Street.
Feiro Marine Life Center educators will teach attendees about sea stars, anemones and other treasures of the Salish Sea. Participants should wear sturdy, nonslip shoes.
Children ages 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Feiro Marine Life Center, located on City Pier in Port Angeles, is a nonprofit education center and aquarium specializing in marine life of the Olympic Peninsula.
