Off the Shelf: Enjoy your library 24/7

The library offers many free online resources, easily accessible on your phone, tablet or computer.

Drop-In Tech Help is available for all community members from 9:30-11 a.m. this Friday, Oct. 4, and the first Friday of every month at the Sequim Library temporary location at 609 W. Washington St. Anyone can stop by with their device to get support accessing library resources like digital magazines, e-books and audiobooks, online Consumer Reports, LinkedIn Learning and NewsBank, which includes access to The Seattle Times.

To learn basic computer skills, try the Northstar Digital Literacy free online program through the library that teaches how to use email and Microsoft Word, and career searching skills and more. Northstar is available anytime at nols.org/online-resources. In-person training is available monthly at the Port Angeles Main Library on the fourth Tuesday from 5-6:30 p.m. Register for the next class, offered on Tuesday, Oct. 22, by calling the library at 360-683-1161.

For your reading enjoyment, downloadable audiobooks and e-books are available anytime through the Libby app. All you need is a free library card available by stopping at the Sequim Library with your picture ID.
