The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society is retiring “Meowgaritas and Mutts” as its annual fundraiser theme, the organization announced in early June.

The inaugural Fur Ball will be held March 22, 2025, at the Field Arts & Event Hall in Port Angeles, noted Leslie Tanzer, chair of the planning committee.

“We’re grateful to the community for all the past support, but after 10 years, it’s time to step up the program,” Tanzer said.

OPHS provides compassionate care for at-risk companion animals throughout Clallam County. A private, non-profit corporation, OPHS is financed primarily by private donations and foundations and is not affiliated with any national organization.
