Sequim natives Dr. Richard Zbaraschuk and Jennifer Zbaraschuk will demonstrate new state-of-the-art microscopy technology which allows for an easy, non-invasive, cost-effective assessment of oral health at the next Science Café, presented by the Sequim Education Foundation, set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Paradise Restaurant, 703 N. Sequim Ave.
The Science Café is a community service of the Sequim Education Foundation. Programs present expert speakers for adult and young adult audiences interested in current developments in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Science Café events are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Paradise Restaurant. Admission is free and food and beverages are available for purchase.
Richard Zbaraschuk attended Loma Linda University and joined his father in general practice after graduation. He completed a post-graduate program in implantology from New York University and became an associate fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Jennifer Zbaraschuk received her hygiene degree from Pierce College and her B.S. in dental hygiene from Eastern Washington University, graduating summa cum laude. She is involved at the state and national level of her hygiene association as a board and committee member. She speaks across the state on topics of oral systemic health.
