During Sequim’s First Friday Art Walk on June 3, Olympic Theatre Arts hosts an audience participation karaoke event led by KJ (Karaoke DJ) Patty Davis, otherwise known as MamaP.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with singing set for 6-8 p.m. There is no charge for attendance.

Davis has been collecting tunes for her karaoke appearances for 30 years and has a developed an instrumental song list including popular genres such as pop, rock and roll, country and contemporary favorites.

“I just love to sing and got hooked on karaoke way back when,” Davis said. “I invested in sound equipment and music so that I could share that love with others.

“It’s so much fun for me to see people of all ages and abilities get up and express themselves by singing their favorite songs.”

MamaP encourages people of all ages to attend and to participate.

Singers will be asked to choose songs from her song list and submit them to be performed in the order they are received.

Refreshments, including beer, wine and light snacks will be available for purchase.

Olympic Theatre Arts Center is at 414 N. Sequim Ave.
