Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, will be hosting auditions for its first Second Stage production of the 2015–2016 season, a musical revue featuring songs of the holidays.
Director Cathy Marshall is looking for a group of carolers who also will serve as emcees for the show and lead the guests in singalongs during each performance.
“If you love to sing and can enchant an audience, this one’s for you,” Marshall said.
Auditions will be at OTA from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, and from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
Experienced singers should come prepared to perform a holiday song or songs of their choosing, either a cappella or with piano accompaniment. OTA will provide sheet music for the most familiar songs but candidates also may bring their own sheet music to use. Candidates also may be asked to harmonize with others during the audition.
Cast members should be prepared to attend rehearsals twice weekly until the performance dates. There will be three performances, Friday-Sunday, Dec. 11–13.
For more information or to schedule an alternate audition time, contact OTA’s business office at 683-7326, from 1–5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
