Peninsula College will celebrate its fourth season of the Maier Hall Concert Series this year with three concerts that bring classical chamber music to the peninsula.
According to PC music director and founder of the series, Dr. David Jones, the concerts promise to provide a multifarious mix of instrumentation and styles, from J.S. Bach to the present, including North Olympic Peninsula premieres of two compositions by Jones.
The series will run from October-April.
The schedule is as follows:
• Oct. 24, Tien Hsieh, piano
• Feb. 23, Caballito Negro, Tessa Brinckman, flute; Terry Longshore, percussion
• April 12, Timothy Hudson, trumpet
All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. and will be staged in Maier Performance Hall and the Peninsula College campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. in Port Angeles.
Season subscriptions are now available for purchase for $40. Individual tickets for each concert are $15 general admission and $5 for students.
