Peninsula Singers present songs of the season this weekend

For two matinee shows, Peninsula Singers present an afternoon of chamber choral music plus a few songs of the season that should get listeners excited for the holidays.

Concerts take place at 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 23-24, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 N. Blake Ave., Sequim, with donations accepted for entry.

With new conductor Jon Stafford and accompaniment by Mark Johnson, the singers present 15 songs, including “Adoramus te (We adore Thee),” “Thou, O Jehovah Abideth Forever,” “The Dark Eyed Sailor” and familiar songs with different melodies “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” and “Silent Night.” Stafford said the audience will be welcomed to sing along.
